2008 Rayz Awareness of Melanoma - Alcoa, Tennessee, Saturday, June 14, 2008

Bill Walter III Melanoma Research Fund will hold a Walk/Run event in Alcoa Tennessee on Saturday, June 14, 2008. The event will include a 10k  (7:30 p.m.), 5k (7:45 p.m.), and a Fun Run (8:00 p.m.)

2008 Rayz Awareness of Melanoma - Fort Collins, Colorado, Friday, April 25, 2008

The Bill Walter III Melanoma Research Fund will hold a Walk/Run event in Fort Collins on Friday, April 25, 2008. The event will include a 4K Walk/Run and a 1K Fun Run. The event begins at 5:00 pm. Pre-register at Blevins Jr. High, Runner's Roost, or Foot of the Rockies by Fri. April 18th. 

Cost:  
Adults- $20 
Kids-$15 (6-18) 
5 and under-FREE

After April 18th, race fees increase by $5.00
($50.00 Maximum for each Family )

The event will include dinner, raffle, motivational speaker on wellness & health, Mark McIntosh from Colorado & Co,  free skin cancer screening, free sport massage, music and most importantly, a chance to assist melanoma patients with their treatment and the opportunity to learn about the prevention of skin cancer. All participants will receive a free picture of themselves crossing the finish line!  Plus, we will have great raffle prizes and a cool t-shirt designed by Blevins Students!!

The Bill Walter III Melanoma Research Fund will hold its 11th Annual RayZ Awareness for Melanoma Walk/Run on the World's Most Famous Beach at the Granada Boulevard approach on Saturday, April 12, 2008. The event will include a 1 mile and 5K Walk/Run. The 5K event begins at 7:30 am., the Mile event at 8:30 am.  Music, food, free sports massage and cancer screening will be part of the post race activities. Donations are gratefully accepted!
